WHY SHOULD YOU COME TO THE MEETING?
  • You are the most important person on the team because you know your child the best.
  • We will help you get services for you and your child.
  • You will meet the people who work with your child.
  • You must agree to the services before they begin.

 

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE MEETING?

  • All members will tell you who they are.
  • We will talk about the good things going on with your child.
  • We will talk about the problems your child is having.
  • We will talk about services that may help your child.
  • We will write a plan about the services we will set up for your child.
  • The people at the meeting will be given jobs to do.
  • We will set up another meeting to make sure that things are done and the services are working for your child.

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE MEETING?

  • The team members need to complete the jobs given to them at the meeting.
  • CASSP will call the team member to make sure that things got done.
  • Team members can call CASSP if they are having trouble getting things done or if the services aren't working.
